Club Philosophy

It is the common goal of the EGEFC to produce complete soccer players. How we do that is by teaching the fundamentals and basics that will help players move on to higher levels of play. A complete soccer player will be able to use both feet and will be capable of both defending and attacking. We will teach our players to be confident with the ball and take on the opposition without question. Our goal is to create a fun-filled environment in which our players will learn to fully understand the game of soccer. We will teach them to play different positions so that they will begin to understand what each position does and begin to fully understand a system of play. From this understanding they will develop skills that will help them in everyday life, for the rest of their lives. They will be team players. They will know how to work hard, be self-disciplined, learn from their defeats and enjoy their successes.

Coaching Philosophy

Our coaching philosophy is simple: Our players come first. It is the goal of the EGEFC to expect complete dedication from our coaching staff. We will encourage our coaches to give everything they have and instill in them a desire to be successful. It is our goal to invest in our coaching staff through continuing education by providing an environment of growth and communication. It is our goal to support our coaches' individuality while working toward a common team/club goal, always keeping at the forefront our core philosophy: PUT THE PLAYERS FIRST.

Club Goals

The goals for our club are to see our players recruited into higher levels of play and competition such as ID2, ODP, State, National, etc. We will strive to retain players from year to year as a way to establish team chemistry and commitment. We will always strive for growth—in our players, our coaches, and our club.
